Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 300 - Color Inspiration

Morning Friends,

Cupcake Inspirations are celebrating their 300th Challenge...they're giving away awesome prizes for their celebration challenge which cover 3 inspirational images. This is my entry to the second challenge.

My result:

I was able to recreate the table setting of the cupcakes after realising that my Cupcake Cutie stamp set from MFT had the perfect image. I copic coloured the image and added the sentiment from Waffle Flower Bowtiful stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To finish the card off I mounted the panel card onto a blue cardstock base, I added sequins, enamel dots, washi tape and white enamel accents to the cream on the cupcakes :)

Happy Birthday Mum!

It's my mum's birthday this weekend and I'm flying down to see her. I made a card for her birthday and I just hope she likes it :)

 

 

The stamp set (Cupcake Cutie) and the doily diecut are from My Favorite Things. I copic coloured the images while the doily diecut was coloured using Vibrant Turquoise spray by Dyan Reaveley. The border at the bottom was created using Seedless Preserves Distress Ink. I added some white dots to it using a stencil and white heat embossed the sentiment. To finish off the card I added enamel dots, sequins and some glitter to her dress and hair bows using Spica Clear.
