One Layer Card 2 - Congrats!

My second card....I started off with a base side folded to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches. I temporarily adhered my Snakeskin stencil from The Crafters Workshop and distressed in Wild Honey and Vintage Photo. I then stamped the Papersmooches Simply Said sentiment in Walnut Stain. I finished it off with some stars from SSS Merry Trees stamp set inked in Black Soot and black stitching.

Simply done!

One Layer Card 1 - Butterfly Garden

Hi Everyone,

Today I have quick one layer cards...

My first card....I started off with a base side folded to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches and I masked off the edges, approx. 1/4inches. I then created vinyl die cut masks of Clearly Besotted Elegant Butterflies and placed it on the base. Using Distress ink (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Shabby Shutters and Crushed Olive), I distressed the entire background to give me a sky and grass look...sorry think my flash on the camera made the green look brownish :|

 

 

After the distressing I stamped in Black Soot the Papersmooches Simply Said sentiment and Botanicals 1 silhouette images. I then peeled off the masks and proceeded to stamp the butterfly images. I finished it off with some Copic coloring and a green border.
