PS SPARKS Challenge Entry 4 - Love Everything

My last entry into Papersmooches SPARKS challenge. The inspirational challenge this week is based on the following picture:

I'm loving the result...

The black cardstock base measures 3 3/4 by 4 3/4 inches and has the leaves from PS Botanicals 2 heat embossed using Ranger Orange Sherbet embossing powder. I die cut purple and blue cardstock frames using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Fifteen set. For the purple frame, I stamped "love" from PS Bold Buzzwords and "everything" from SSS Thanks stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black. I added the two hearts also from Bold Buzzwords and heat embossed them using Ranger Turquoise embossing powder.

For the assembly of the card, I glued down the blue frame directly onto the base and using foam squares I added the purple frame to the blue frame.

NOTE: I'm also entering this into SSS Work it Wednesday Aug 2014.

PS SPARKS Challenge Entry 3 - Celebrate Card

Back again with my third entry into Papersmooches SPARKS challenge. The inspirational challenge this week is based on the following picture:

and my result...

The panel is an orange patterned paper from My Mind's Eye Bright Side and measures 3 3/4 by 4 1/2 inches. I white heat embossed the "celebrate" sentiment from PS Pretty Phrases. For the flowers  I used Distress ink Peacock Feathers, Shaded Lilac, Hero Arts Passion Flower and stamped the two flower images from PS Botanicals 2 repeatedly onto some white cardstock. I cut these out and adhered them using glue and/or foam squares.

I added my panel using foam squares onto a top folded white cardstock base measuring 1/16inch wider. To finish off I added some enamel dots from Studio Calico.

NOTE: I'm also entering this into SSS Work it Wednesday Aug 2014.

Share the Love Week!! - Day 4 One Layer - Entry 3

My last entry...

I used a white cardstock base of 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches. I firstly masked off the edges using masking tape, approx. 1/4 inch wide. I made a mask of my stamp from Dyan Reaveley's Night on the Opera using Tim Holtz mask sheet. I placed it on my base and continued with inking my images from Papersmooches Botanicals 1 (Inks used - Hero Arts Wet Cement & Distress Ink Picked Raspberry)

After I stamped all my images I removed the mask and stamped my main image in Distress ink Black Soot. I used my Copic Ciaos to colour in the image. (Pinks - RV13, RV34, R22, R37, R59 and Greys - W3, W5)

I then used a sponge dauber to ink the word YOU using Cloud White through my die cut stencil...it looks like a watermark :) I then stamped the words AMAZE ME from SSS YOU stamp set using Wet Cement. To finish off the card I added enamel dots and drew a black border after removing all my masking...Hope you liked the card!

SimonSaysStamp Work it Wednesday Challenge - Card 1

Hi Everyone,

Today I have a cute card for a baby arrival...I wanted to use light brown/grey and pink colours so this type of card best suited the theme...

I used a white cardstock panel of 3 5/8 by 5 1/4 inches, stamped it with Martha Stewart Pink Geranium pigment ink using the Woodgrain rubber stamp. I then stamped the heart strings from Inbetweenies using Wet Cement. I used Pebble cardstock and cut a panel 1 5/8 by 3 5/8 inches, thereafter I white heat embossed a portion of the heart strings and the sentiments from SSS Baby and PS Bold Buzzwords stamp sets. I had to carefully emboss the images to best get everything aligned.

I mounted the Pebble cardstock using foam squares onto the woodgrain panel. I tied some pink organza ribbon around the assembled panel and adhered that onto a pink side folded cardstock base measuring 3 3/4 by 5 1/4 inches. To finish the card off I added some enamel dots.

My descriptions are shorter in this post and will be so for future posts, this is because I have started using Inlinkz. I hope this is a better choice! Let me know...
